15 options and which weddings to wear them to this summer

While, personally, I won’t be attending any weddings this summer— instead with several this fall and winter— I thought I’d do some shopping for all of you going to wedding-related festivities over the next couple of months. This is the perfect chance to embrace pastel hues and lightweight silks, and I’ve found so many gorgeous pieces. I’m sensing that the Barbie resurgence is popularizing lots of princessy shades of pink, and I’m here for it. I hope you enjoy this collection of sustainably-and mindfully-made made dresses for your warm-weather weddings.

DÔEN Operetta Dress | $448 | For a black tie wedding

In crisp ramie, the Operetta Dress is a striking gown that’s perfectly suited to special occasions. The neckline is adorned with petite picot-edged ruffles and reinforced with silicone tape to ensure a snug, no-slip fit. Boning lends structure to the fitted bodice, which closes with an invisible side zipper, giving way to a tiered, ruffled full-length skirt. Wear it strapless, or with the removable straps for additional support.

Reformation Kylen Dress | $278 | For a laid-back wedding

This ribbony, blue dress is made of a deadstock woven fabric, and alterations are on the house at Reformation.

DÔEN AURELIE DRESS | $648 | For a bridesmaid or maid of honor

This is the sort of dress I’d purchase and keep around for my ten-year anniversary party, which is absolutely not planned or any time soon, but might need to be planned around this dress. This is next-level stunning and if any of you get this, please DM me a photo because I simply must see!

Reformation Adalynn Two-Piece Dress | $298 | For a beach wedding

This playful, Y2K-inspired set is also available in black and red, but I think this baby pink would be precious for a lowkey, beachy occasion.

Marcella New York Tally Dress | $138 | For any wedding

Taking inspiration from the brand’s warm-weather Clara Dress, Tally features a sweetheart neckline and ultra-fine straps for a feminine feel. Her fitted top is crafted from mid-stretch, structured European ponte with flattering princess seams and an open back, and hidden side zip for easy on/off. Tally's twirl-worthy skirt is fashioned from 100% European cotton and gathered at the waist for volume—with two side pockets.

Reformation Aydin Dress | $218 | For an evening wedding

I’d wear this to a nighttime wedding, and then re-wear it for New Year’s Eve or any other holiday function. Made of deadstock fabric.

DÔEN YVONNE DRESS | $258 | For a wine country wedding

In crisp, lightweight ramie, the Yvonne Dress features an asymmetrical neckline, an adjustable waist tie, and an A-line skirt with a playful mini hemline. This is a detailed yet casual option that is endlessly re-wearable!

Reformation Frankie Dress | $298 | For an Italian wedding

This long dress is made of 100% silk and is available in seven colors— it’s truly a showstopper. Simple and straightforward, it’s the perfect canvas for interesting shoes and bold accessories.

MARCELLA New York A-Line Jamaica Dress | $138 | For a city wedding

This long, breezy black dress is the choice for a wedding on a hot day in the city. Fashioned from comfy, crisp 100% European poplin cotton, she offers a fitted bodice (with a hidden side zip), a chic, square neckline, and ballerina length. Jamaica's gathered skirt flows from above the waist for a flattering a-line fit and has pockets.

Reformation Tagliatelle Linen Dress | $278 | For a countryside wedding

This A-line dress has a corset-detailed bodice with a beautiful scalloped lace trim. This would be a perfect dress for frolicking at a sweet Vermont cottage/farmstead type of event.

Marcella New York Racine Dress | $148 | For any wedding

The everyday dress that will make you feel special each time you wear her. A maxi dress in 100% European Cotton, this hot pink dress is beautifully elegant and feminine. The dress offers adjustable shoulder straps that can be tied in a bow, a fitted bodice with princess seams (with an elastic back panel to let you move freely), and a wonderfully long frill around the hem. Interested in the shorter version?

Ciao Lucia Fabia Ruched Cotton Maxi | $335 | For a beach wedding

This knit dress is the perfect crossover piece for a formal, coastal wedding. It’s breezy enough for a warm day, dressy in its’ off-the-shoulder moment, yet comfy and easy for walking around in the sand.

MARCELLA New York GRACIE SLEEVELESS DRESS | $138 | For a woodsy wedding

This 100% European cotton dress has a long, sleeveless a-line shape. Detailing includes two practical side pockets and a contrasting metal zipper that sits center back. Wear this maxi dress loose and free-flowing, or accentuate your waist by adding a belt.

Reformation Sarena Minidress | $134 | For a city hall wedding

This dress is made of deadstock polyester and is satiny and silky, and a great price. Another endlessly re-wearable option fit for formal and casual occasions throughout the summer.
