Maison Louis Marie No.11 La Thémis Candle, $23.80 (on sale)

La Themis was the name of the ship that carried Louis Marie back to France after 10 years in exile on Madagascar in 1802. Inspired by a long journey, the fragrance begins with a fresh green leaf accord with a Eucalyptus character and quickly changes to a dominant Spearmint main theme. The brand is committed to the business of clean beauty and non-toxic fragrances, containing no environmentally harmful ingredients— whether naturally sourced or manmade— and are never tested on animals or made with animal-derived ingredients.

Our Place Daily Board, $30 (on sale)

A cut above the rest, the Daily Board is designed to make prep easier from start to finish. It’s the perfect size, weight, and material for any matter of prep your recipe box throws at you. Made from recycled materials, the Daily Board is a double-sided cutting plane with a textured surface to conceal knife marks. Consider it your everyday home-cooking companion.

Apoterra Rose Facial Oil, $34 with code SAM15

This facial oil might take the cake for best skincare product I discovered all year: here’s my full review. Apoterra is an incredible, natural brand focusing on nourishing your skin with plant extracts and sustainable, healthy ingredients.

Dusen Dusen Pattern Glasses, $35 for 4

Dusen Dusen is known for their bold original textiles to both wear and live among. Each collection is developed and inspired by fine art, commercial and naïve design, as well as the brain's reaction to color, movement, and contrast. Pattern Glasses place these colorful designs onto everyday tumblers that are sure to brighten your mood.

Our Place Wave Trivet, $37 (on sale)

The beautiful Wave Trivet was designed and handmade by SIN, a Brooklyn-based ceramics home goods brand founded by Virginia Sin, as a show-stopping protective base for your Always Pan and Perfect Pot. Each natural, unglazed, stoneware trivet is hand-poured, hand-finished, and hand-stamped by artisans in an organic wave pattern. It’s a stunning sculptural statement that transforms any table.

Cometeer Third-Wave Coffee Pods, $39 with this link (regularly $64)

If you’ve seen me in person at any point over the last few months, I’ve probably brought up Cometeer. I was skeptical at first, but was quickly won over with the simplicity and incredible quality of this coffee. How it works: a liquid nitrogen shower locks in the exceptional freshness and flavor of the coffee: the pods arrive frozen (with no preservatives) and you simply place them in a hot water bath to melt them before pouring over ice and/or adding milk, and making your drink of choice. And! The aluminum pods are fully recyclable because they contain no grounds. Here’s a video that walks through the process as well.

Crown Affair Hair Oil, $40

My holy grail hair oil— formulated with smoothing Japanese tsubaki seed and hydrating meadowfoam seed oil, this near-weightless serum deeply hydrates from within, protects strands from heat and exposure, and reduces unwanted frizz and the appearance of split ends and flyaways. The scent is also to die for: you’ll find notes of bergamot, yuzu, and lemongrass. Some of my other recent haircare favorites include SuperHair and Pearl by Moon Juice, plus the Scrunchies from Crown Affair.

Serving Friends, $40

Whoever said food isn’t to be played with hasn’t met Serving Friends. These wooden spoons, carved into charming shapes, bring joy and humor to your dining table. No matter what you’re serving, they'll always be there to serve up smiles. By Selena Liu.

Vitrvui Holiday Kit, $43 with code SAMLANDRETH

A bundle of 4 essential oil blends perfect for the holiday season. Featuring cozy Slow Dance, spicy Nightcap, warm Dusk, and cheerful Golden, these are the scents of merriment and togetherness.

Drink Rocks, $45

Drink Rocks keep your spirits as they should be: undiluted. These platonically shaped stones are designed to be chilled in your freezer before being admired in your evening cocktail. Made with natural materials and are finished by hand: the finishing process affords each piece with unique characteristics which may vary from product to product.

Summer School Toni Mug, $46

Summer School is a handmade line of homewares made by Karen D'Ambrosi in Richmond, Virginia. She often releases new pastel hues and I’m always considering which piece to add to my collection next.

Christy Dawn Earth Tee, $47 (on sale) + extra discount with code 35SAM

The Earth Tee features an airy, slightly oversized fit, and is made from all the cotton fiber that would otherwise be discarded during the farming, ginning and spinning of the brand’s Farm-to-Closet fabric. This tee was hand tie-dyed with natural indigo, and 19 pounds of carbon were sequestered to grow the cotton in each tee.

Everybody Grinder, $48

The Everybody Grinder is there for you whenever you need some flavor on your plate and some color in your kitchen. Designed by Dusen Dusen for Areaware.

Ceremonia Sunday Reset Duo, $37.50 with code SAMLIVING15

The Papaya Scalp Scrub is an invigorating, whipped shampoo featuring Papaya Enzymes and Bolivian Pink Salt to exfoliate the scalp, help balance the scalp’s oil, revitalize hair and get rid of impurities or buildup. Guava Leaf and Prickly Pear Cactus extracts help infuse the scalp with the moisture it needs, while overall invigorating for ultimate hair wellness. Your scalp and hair’s essential detox, without the harsh ingredients. The Mascarilla de Babassu is a rejuvenating treatment packed with natural nutrients, including Babassu and Cupuaçu Butter from Peru, for maximum hydration, conditioning and strengthening. Your hair wellness supplement in between haircuts and your home remedy remastered. Code works for first purchases only.

Lunya Washable Silk Sleep Mask, $48 | 15% off with code SAMLANDRETH

Light is the enemy of sleep, so this miracle worker helps you find total darkness wherever you rest. This mask is made from naturally moisturizing silk and doubles as a headband for your nightly beauty routine, and it pairs well with the Washable Silk Sleepwear Set.

Hotel Ceramics Chunky Mug, $60

Hotel is a handmade ceramics line created by Sara Lionag in Portland, Oregon— I love the bold color and soft shape of this mug.

A Thing on a Table in a House book by Apartamento magazine, $75

With works by Serban Ionescu and a play by James English Leary, the book is in itself an Ionescu sculpture, with its 68-page oversized board book format having been printed and precisely die-cut to mimic the rambling contours and dazzling colors found on the steel sculptures of this prolific New York-based, Romanian-born artist. It also doubles as a play, penned in three acts by Serban’s fellow artist and close friend James English Leary, who fully embraces Serban’s artistic approach and explores his ideas in a highly absurd series of events. Gathering together pieces from between 2017 and 2021, a flip through this book transports you directly into Serban’s anthropomorphic world, one that straddles the ever-fine line separating furniture and sculpture.

Donni (Re)sourced Cashmere-Merino Sweater Tank, $88

Love Donni's laid-back vibe and sweet backstory (the LA brand's name is a tribute to designer Alyssa Wasko's dad). Donni and Madewell teamed up on some super-comfy and sustainable styles, knit from a touchably soft blend of wool and (Re)sourced recycled cashmere, this goes-with-everything cropped sweater tank is a piece you'll love (and wear) for years to come.

Our place Always Pan, $95 (on sale)

This pan features an exclusive nontoxic, nonstick ceramic coating made without potentially toxic materials like PFOAs, PTFEs, other PFAs, lead, cadmium, toxic metals, and nanoparticles. Compatible with all cooktops. See also: the Cast Iron Always Pan.

Fable Coupe Glass Set, $95 with code SAMLANDRETH10OFF

Shaken or stirred, pour your favorite cocktail (or mocktail) into a chilled set of the coupe glasses. Crafted from clear crystal with shatter-resistant strength, they’re perfect for your next dinner party.

Wolf Circus Renata Pearl Bracelet, $90

Handcrafted in Vancouver, each of Wolf Circus’s Renata bracelets is slightly distinct, thanks to the unique organic shapes of those delicate freshwater pearls. But they all have a few things in common: they’re seven inches long, they’re finished with a 14-karat gold-filled clasp, and every last one is simply exquisite.

Parachute Shearling Wool Clogs, $99

A classic, closed-toe silhouette made of all natural wool shearling. Featuring sturdy foam soles with tread for ease of movement inside or outside the house.
