A few finds for gatherings and the best summer dessert

We’re getting some rare glimpses of sunlight amidst this very interesting season in LA, post-May Gray and mid-June Gloom. Knowing the light is quite literally at the end of the tunnel, we’ve got months of perfect picnic weather to look forward to come July. With that in mind, I found a handful of things from Etsy to create a sweet picnic setup, and I must say, the pie tote is brilliant and worked so perfectly.

Love this knit blanket and market tote. I’ll definitely be using the bag for beach days, farmers market trips and grocery runs, too!

For the picnic, I made this summer tart with salted shortbread crust and vanilla pastry cream— it was relatively simple and so delicious. Going to repeat probably a dozen more times with cherries and other roasted fruits over the next few months :-)

Bubble Cocktail Glasses, $48 for a set of two

This set of glasses comes in a few different bubbly shape variations: they’re very sturdy and quite large! Looks like the shop is taking a break for now, so you can view my other favorites here.

For the picnic blanket, tote and serving tray, you can view my collection on Etsy.
