Interesting Summer Tops Pt. II

At the start of every season, I find myself falling into the same ritual: I go through my closet and see where I can fill in the gaps, then get to work on a very specific wishlist. In the summer months, it’s easy for me to fall into a bit of a rut—I slip on barely-there shorts, grab whatever breathable cotton confection won't make me melt into the sidewalk, and call it a day. But here's the thing about 90-degree weather—it strips away all pretense: when I’m too warm to think about a whole look, the shirt becomes the entire story.
This is my fifth summer in Los Angeles, and I still feel like I’m building my summer shirt collection at a selective pace. The eternal conundrum? Finding pieces that walk the tightrope between timeless and of-the-moment…tops that will still excite me two summers from now but feel like a conversation piece today. I’m sure you can guess where this is going: I’ve put together a lineup of everything that’s caught my eye—a mix of tees, tanks, tube tops, and structured blouses for a wide array of warm-weather occasions. As always, I focused on finding pieces made of cotton and other sustainable materials—breathable additions to your wardrobe that you can feel good about. Hope you find something you love!
