My best finds of the year across the board

For this year’s gift guide, I pulled together all of my favorite discoveries of 2025, plus lots of special wishlist items I don’t own but would love to give to everyone I know. As always, I prioritized practical but beautiful items meant to last you—and your loved ones—decades to come. The majority of the gifts here are from independent brands, handmade, use primarily sustainable materials, or a combo of those things. Prices range from $20 to $300, with a few outliers here and there: I’ve got some options for the hosts and homebodies, the broadly design-obsessed, health and wellness enthusiasts, comfort-seekers, kids, plus some stocking stuffer ideas for all. Hope you enjoy these finds as much as I do, and maybe you’ll spot a few pieces to add to your own wishlist: you can always forward this post to parents or partners in case they need some ideas for you, too. 💙 And if you’re still searching for some holiday decorations, here’s what I’ve been loving!

For the home cook / Homebody

For your hosts, home cooks and all-around homebodies, a beautifully-crafted cutting or serving board would be a sweet gift paired with some vintage serve-ware, jams, cheese knives, and/or bar tools. For a unique holiday gift that crosses over with a housewarming gift for a friend who’s moved recently, I’d opt for the swan serving spoon set. The side bowls, soft edge turner and walnut cutting board are a few of my most-loved kitchen items: great for contributing to a loved one’s intentional, long-lasting cookware lineup. Also love the idea of gifting framed photos from trips you’ve been on with a friend/family member, or framing some of the photo booth photos you have together—see all of my favorite examples here.

For the Broadly design-obsessed

Love the color story happening in this section, and I feel strongly that you can’t go wrong with any of these gifts. The incense are my chosen scent to burn each day: the packaging is so delicate and a treat to open. All three books above make perfect picks for those in your life who spend the majority of their week in Figma (but who enjoy browsing for real-world design inspo in their spare time.) Room Service is my go-to coffee table book to flip through: the drawings feel so nostalgic and always inspire me to sketch. Unique desk additions like the pencil cup set or a visually interesting comb will turn up daily in your loved ones’ lives—they’re thoughtful pieces that add some whimsy to the mundane!

For your most chic friends & Family members

While I imagine you’re not gifting your closest friends, say, a lamp, maybe you and your partner have talked about upgrading your nightstands: enter a beautiful set of lamps you might not otherwise splurge on. On the other hand, the monogrammed candle sleeve feels like the most thoughtful budget gift pick.

for the chronically comfortable

I must report—the most comfortable travel and errand-running pants on the planet can be found here: if you know a frequent flyer who wants to streamline their in-flight wardrobe, or someone who wants to trade in their sweatpant collection for something more versatile: look no further. The pima crew is a top ten purchase of the year for me: it’s my dream tee. I have it in three colors and wear it multiple days per week—it hits at the perfect length, sleeves are just long enough, looks great under a sweater, looks great on its own, not totally sheer, washes well—and I recommend it to everyone who wants to end their search for the perfect base layer. The Rina is a recent addition to my wardrobe: the sweetest Jane Birkin-inspired top that I’m so excited about, and the Reid Zip Cardigan is a sweater that both my husband and I have in different colors, and plan to own until we’re old and gray.

For the self-care enthusiast

I find that an offering of a few great skincare and haircare products is an excellent gift for everyone: if you’re also quite frequently comparing products with friends, it’s fun to share your favorites with them at the end of the year. All of the hair products above are my daily drivers—lightweight serums that smell incredible and are comprised of mostly clean ingredients. This lip liner is incredible and would make a nice stocking stuffer: it’s velvety, blurs well, and never dries out my sensitive lips. Cannot recommend it enough! By Rosie Jane has so many refreshing, spa-like scents, and you should consider grabbing a bundle to layer on in-shower and post-shower for the full effect. Their Body Milk is delightful (absorbs immediately, a little goes a long way) and is my husband’s favorite body lotion, too!

For him, in general

If your significant other is as obsessed with tennis, Japanese whiskey and flipping through art books as mine is, you’ll find a few solid recommendations above. We’ve been ordering Cometeer for years now because we never had the space for an espresso machine in our last place—it’s truly the most accurate alternative, in my humble opinion.

I still stand by my stocking stuffer suggestions from last year, and refreshed all of the links here! See also: what’s in my travel bag for more pocket-sized gift ideas for friends and family.

I think that should do it. I sincerely hope you enjoyed browsing through this list as much as I enjoy putting it together—and that you found several special objects to add to your wishlist and to gift to your loved ones this holiday season! Xo
