Personalized Chrome Frame Ornament, comes with a chartreuse and red bow
What was the first thing to come across my desk when the calendar flipped over to November 1st? This precious ornament, pictured above, thank you for asking. Naturally, I had to drop everything and place an order. On my recent quest to frame all of our photos and artwork, my favorite one has been this rounded chrome frame, and this ornament felt like its’ perfect complement! I know, I know, we’ve got a minute before we break out the decorations—but I find that each year, I miss out on the trinkets highest on my wishlist because I wait a few weeks too long to order…and I’m determined to get ahead of that, and (hopefully) help you do the same.
I’ve gathered some of the sweetest holiday decorations—a mix of things I’ve collected over the last few years, plus some recent discoveries. Hope you find a few things to add to your lineup as we ease into the holiday season!
Silver Tree Topper, $140
We came across this tree topper on Etsy back in the spring and thought it’d be cute to leave out throughout the year, so we’ve had it on our bookshelf waiting for its’ big moment. It’s also available on Free People.
I got this tabletop tree on eBay last year, and it was originally by Sharper Image circa the 90s or early 2000s. This one is incredibly similar if you haven’t had any luck finding one secondhand!
Here are a few vintage and handmade finds from Etsy: this little ornament made from an old Christmas card is adorable. I’m also partial to kitschy but cute wooden figurines reminiscent of my grandparents’ holiday decor.
I loved doing tabletop trees in past apartments with more limited space. Also cute for a kid’s room!
There are so many vintage quilt stocking options out there, and the needlepoint versions are always a classic.
A few honorable mentions: starting with this incredibly chic gift wrap…
This paper advent calendar couldn’t be cuter—just ordered this—also love a cotton option to hang on a door or wall near your tree. Thanks for reading—hope you found a few things you love!
