Back with inspiration for cool-weather events

As promised, I’m back with the unique and beautiful dresses I’m eyeing for autumn and winter weddings. Here are all of my summer favorites, in case you’d like to take a look— many of them will also work for your slightly chillier September, October, and November celebrations.

DÔEN Bellamy Dress | $298

In crisp organic cotton poplin, the ‘70s-inspired Bellamy Dress features a square neckline, a gathered bust, and a fitted bodice framed with petite ruffles. A third gathered panel finishes just below the hips, flaring out into an ankle-grazing skirt. Juliet sleeves puff out at the shoulders, fitting close along the arms with elasticized smocking.

Georgia Hardinge Metal Dress | $354

I could not be more in love with the silhouette of this dress— this deep wine color is a dream. You could also opt for something a bit more cerise or disco-inspired with the other color-ways available.

DÔEN Operetta Dress | $448

You know I’m still obsessing over the Operetta dress. This striking gown is perfectly suited to special occasions— the neckline is adorned with petite picot-edged ruffles and reinforced with silicone tape to ensure a snug, no-slip fit. Boning lends structure to the fitted bodice, which closes with an invisible side zipper, giving way to a tiered, ruffled full-length skirt. Wear it strapless, or with the removable straps for additional support.

Aje Stellar Camisole Top | $255

This silky, sleeveless top presents a harmonious blend of structure and softness with exposed boning, a flared hem, and a sweetheart neckline. I would pair this with a wide leg pant or maxi skirt for a more laid-back wedding or a rehearsal dinner moment.

DÔEN Nadette Dress | $598

The Nadette Dress is rendered in sheer tulle with allover floral embroidery. Short puffed sleeves frame a square neckline, while a fitted bodice with an invisible side zipper gives way to a full, tiered skirt with a petite ruffle at the hem. Designed to let the light shine through, the Nadette can be paired with one of the brand’s slips for additional coverage.

Rhode Velvet Ramona Dress | $595

Meet Ramona—complete with a sweetheart neckline and fitted bodice descend into a fluted skirt that grazes the ankle. In black velvet, it looks luxe dressed down with a cardigan and flats, or dressed up with kitten heels for winter events.

Aje Luna Tiered Maxi Dress | $190

Another lovely gathered option, made of 100% cotton.

Reformation Tripoli Dress | $348

This rose-covered dress is designed to be fitted at the bodice with a column skirt. This is such a flattering, timeless silhouette that will look so dreamy twirling around on the dance floor.

Paloma Wool Purple Heimer Midi Dress | $240

The perfect shape for a sheer dress, imo. Would wear this with a black bodysuit or set underneath and pair it with some very tall black boots.

Rhode Suzette Dress | $595

Suzette is a party girl. Crafted in a standard fit with a ruched bodice, sweetheart neckline, and puffed sleeves, the Suzette dress is at once elegant and effortlessly cool. Perfect with a pointed-toe heel for an ‘80s-inspired moment. Sustainably made with recycled polyester.

SOEUR VERONIQUE DRESS | 345 €

Loving this more androgynous shape from Soeur— this dress worn on its own with tall boots or a kitten heel would look so chic.

Tory Burch Poplin Collar Sweater Dress | $398

Perfect for a rehearsal dinner or a more casual wedding, this polished sweater dress is inspired by a classic '60s A-line silhouette. Knit from a luxe wool with a demure round collar in cotton poplin, it is an easy piece to wear for a variety of occasions, on its own or layered under other knits and jackets.

Shona Joy La Luna Open Back Dress | $360

Turn heads in this stunning maxi dress featured in a gorgeous silky fabrication with exaggerated sleeves, cutouts at sides, and super exposed back for an added special touch.

Guage81 Moata Minidress | $395

A structured staple that would look so elegant with a strappy heel or a pointed-toe kitten heel, some tiny pearls and a mini bag.

I hope you found something dreamy for colder weather weddings— pair any of the above with the best tights from Sezane.
